Service Receptionist / Advisor - Full Time

We have an immediate opening for a motivated, customer-focused Service Receptionist / Advisor to join our Service Team. In this role, you’ll be guiding customers through their vehicle ownership experience with personalised, knowledgeable service and maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage customer service appointments, ensuring a clear understanding of customer needs.
  • Accurately document concerns and work closely with our technical and warranty teams for efficient diagnosis.
  • Monitor the progress of vehicle servicing and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Prepare invoices and offer honest, transparent advice.

What We’re Looking For

  • Professional presentation and a proactive attitude.
  • Service Advising experience is valued but not essential.
  • Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Commitment to customer service and satisfaction. 
  • Current driver’s license.

Parts Interpreter - Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to bring their expertise to our award-winning Parts Department. While prior Parts Interpreter experience is ideal, we’re also open to candidates with automotive retail experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and sourcing parts and components.
  • Consulting catalogues and managing stock control.
  • Handling materials and providing guest advice.
  • Receiving and processing parts orders.
  • Preparing invoices and organising dispatch.
  • Building guest loyalty and providing high-quality support.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion for the automotive industry and knowledge of parts.
  • Conscientious, detail-oriented, and motivated.
  • High level of presentation and customer service focus.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Mazda or Toyota dealership experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Parts Interpreter qualification (Certificate III in Automotive Sales - Parts Interpretation) preferred but not required.

Qualified Technician / Motor Mechanic - Full Time

We are looking for Qualified Service Technicians / Motor Mechanics to join Taylor Motors and grow their career. We are expanding and enhancing our workshop and looking for experienced technicians to grow, lead and thrive in our service department.

What’s the Role About?
As an Automotive Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles according to manufacturer warranty guidelines, company policy, and supervisor instructions.
  • Providing expert advice on the current mechanical condition of vehicles.
  • Mentoring junior technicians and contributing to the growth of the service department.
  • Repairing mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
  • Reporting necessary work, services, or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using in-house databases.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues related to our product range.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment through the correct operation of tools and specialised equipment.
  • Promoting safe work practices among all staff.
  • Conducting test drives and quality assessments prior to delivering or returning vehicles to customers.
  • Performing other duties as directed.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualifications.
